Gary Hastings, retired Assistant Chief of Police, Greensboro, has more than 34 years in law enforcement and has just published his first book CASE CLOSED.
His resume includes police patrol and community policing, detective, including arson investigation in the CSI division of Greensboro PD; watch commander and division executive officer. At the GPD he was the media spokesman on major crimes resulting in appointment to state and federal task forces and being deputized as a Special Deputy US Marshal. He has collected law enforcement memorabilia for over thirty years.
In addition to his many duties, honors and awards as law enforcement professional, Mr. Hasting is an accomplished professional trumpet player.
