<p>Gary Hastings, retired Assistant Chief of Police, Greensboro, has more than 34 years in law enforcement and has just published his first book CASE CLOSED. <br />
His resume includes police patrol and community policing, detective, including arson investigation in the CSI division of Greensboro PD; watch commander and division executive officer. At the GPD he was the media spokesman on major crimes resulting in appointment to state and federal task forces and being deputized as a Special Deputy US Marshal. He has collected law enforcement memorabilia for over thirty years.<br />
	In addition to his many duties, honors and awards as law enforcement professional, Mr. Hasting is an accomplished professional trumpet player. <br />
